The great English writer Samuel Johnson once wrote, "The man that is tired of London is tired of life..." was he ever right. After over nine hours in the air, our intrepid travelers finally landed in London's Heathrow airport. The wise among them had sought the comfort of sleep during the transatlantic voyage, others chose video games as a poor substitute.
After dropping bags at the Mentone Hotel, we headed to Convent Garden for lunch. Our next stop was an open top bus ride of the major attractions of this beautiful city, which ended at the iconic landmarks of Tower Bridge and the Tower of London. A cruise along the river Thames gave all an unusual perspective of London. Leaving our cruise at Westminster in the shadow of Big Ben, we rocked dinner at the original Hard Rock Cafe before returning for a night of repose at our hotel
