Day 3

Jolly spiffing day began with clouds and rain as we boarded the bus for Stone Henge and the Roman city of Bath. The rain cleared as we arrived at Stone Henge. After a tour of this ancient monument we proceeded to the Roman city of Bath where we toured "a still working" roman bath, and admired the beautiful Georgian architecture that can be found in the city.

A moment of silence was observed on the return journey as we crested a hill and looked into the distance to see Wales. As Mr. Zeal shed a tear, we continued back to London to participate in a night walk around the St. Paul's Cathedral area exploring ghost tales of the old city. Once again a tired and happy crew returned to the hotel around 10:30.

Tomorrow Westminster Abbey, the British Museum and Wicked so stay tuned......

It was a wonderful day in London. The rain held off and and we had blue skies for most of the day. We spent the morning in Greenwich, the location of the Prime Meridian, along with some shopping and the famous Greenwich Market. We took a cruise down the Thames River, to a tour of the near 1000 year old Tower of London.

The night was finished off with a trip to the London Bridge Experience, and then the thrilling Jack the Ripper walk. A tired but happy crew made it safely back to the hotel at 10:30. Look for updates tomorrow from Stonehenge and the Roman Baths.....

Day 1: Arrived to a cold but sunny London. After a brief stop at our hotel, we immediately took the tube to Covent Garden for lunch and some early shopping. After Lunch we embarked on a open top bus tour: see picture.

Stopping at the Tower of London, we took a river cruise back to Big Ben, and from there went to the Hard Rock Cafe for dinner. Finishing the night with a guided walk on the River Thames, where we discovered the history of St. Pauls Cathedral and the Globe Theater. A tired and happy crew hit the sack around 10:15. A last minute checklist

• Be on time at Terminal D no later than 1:30 P.M.
• Pack light, remember to save room for souvenirs
  
• Bring clothing that will allow you to dress in layers
• Bring a pen, paper, and your Bible
• No liquids in your carry on!
• Remember we will be representing TWCA, and more importantly Jesus Christ!
• Be prepared to have a blast and to make memories that will last a lifetime!
